Greenbrier Riverside #1:
Some of the most beautiful and popular wedding ceremony locations are along the cascading rivers and streams of the Great Smoky Mountains. The picture shown hear is from the Little Pigeon River, a few miles outside of Gatlinburg.  There are several spots along this section of river to choose from,  including a large, open area for groups with up to 20 guests.  This is the most popular spot for wedding ceremonies, but during certain times of the year it can be crowded.  So contact us for suggestions on the best time to plan your wedding to avaoid other park visitors.  Greenbrier Riverside #1 Slideshow

Greenbrier Riverside #2:
You’ll find seclusion just a few miles up the gravel road from Greenbrier Riverside #1.  This a good spot for times when there is a chance of running into crowds at in the park.  There are several spots along this section of river to choose from.  This is normally a second choice for couples who are unable to use Greenbrier #1.  But this spot is just as beautiful as the other,  it’s really hard to go wrong in the Smoky Mountains.

The reason we suggest this waterfall is because it is easily accessible on a flat trail just 3-4 minutes from the parking area.  Most of the other waterfalls in the Smoky Mountains require a hike of over a mile to get to.  You won’t find this waterfall on any trail  maps, but it has become quite a popular area for wedding ceremonies and pictures! It’s rushing waters and rich forest setting create the perfect romantic ambience for such a special occasion.  If it is your dream to be married by a mountain waterfall we can help make it happen.

National Park Overlook:
This is one of the best views in the Smoky Mountians,  and the most popular spot for wedding pictures.  There are spectacular photo opportunities at any time of the day.  It is centrally located, convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.  As with most overlooks in the area it is easily accessible,  close to the road and close to parking.  There are no restrooms at this specific overlook.

Cades Cove Outdoor Locations:
Cades Cove is a lush valley surrounded by mountains, it is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  You can catch a glimps of everything the park has to offer;  views, wildlife and history.  The expansive meadows in Cades Cove provide a unique foreground to some of the most amazing mountain views in the park.  These same meadows also offer plentiful food sources for wildlife.  Deer are often seen in the fields and sightings of other wildlife, including bear, are possible.  A wide array of historic buildings dating back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries are scattered through out the cove. These include a grist mill, a variety of barns, three churches, and a marvelous collection of log homes and outbuildings.  Aside from the 3 Churches,  there are two outdoor mountain view locations the national park has approved for wedding ceremonies.

Cades Cove Historic Churches:
The Primitive Baptist Church, Methodist Church and Missionary Baptist Church are all available to be used for wedding ceremonies. There is no additional fee required to use the churches. Please note that the appeal of these historic buildings is their rustic charm. They do not have any source of power or restrooms. The Methodist Church is particularly appealing as it has a beautiful mountain view setting outside that can be used for wedding ceremonies with less than 20 guests.

Gatlinburg Wedding Chapel:
This beautiful log Chapel seats up to 25, and has the warmth and charm of a small church. Soft, natural light illuminates the chapel through large stained glass windows.  The Chapel has private Bride and Groom changing rooms, restrooms, and is handicap accessible. There are many perfect photo opportunities both inside and out,  the chapel is built of huge natural logs with a small mountain stream, covered foot bridge and elegant gazebo just outside it’s doors.  It is conveniently located minutes from Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park,  close to the riverside and overlook which are available as a second location for your wedding pictures.

Pigeon Forge Wedding Chapel:
Step into a simpler, quieter time, beginning your new lives together in this magical log chapel.  Your journey to the past begins under the splendid hand-hewn cross that adorns the entryway, and continues at the leaded-glass doorway.  Enter and you will discover a nicely decorated chapel reminiscent of the churches in Cades Cove. Illuminated primarily by candles and oil lamps, you can’t help but feel the deep connection created with the roots of the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge. Please keep in mind that Creekside Cove Wedding Chapel is a rustic style chapel designed for small intimate weddings. It can accommodate up to 20 people but there are no restroom or changing facilities on the premises.
