  • Latest Update
    Tennessee's Governor has announced that restaurants may reopen on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 50 percent occupancy and that retail stores may reopen on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 50 percent occupancy.
    Update March 31st The Tennessee Governor has issued a 'safer at home' order, suggesting that nonessential businesses close and urging residents to remain at home whenever possible through April 14th.
    Update April 2nd The Tennessee Governor has issued a 'stay at home' order, mandatingthe closure of all nonessential businesses and requiring residents to stay at home except for essential activities April 16th.

  • At this time we are still able to provide services for upcoming weddings. If your wedding will have more than 8 guests and is scheduled between March 16th and April 4th we strongly recommend that you reduce your guest list, postpone or cancel. We are practicing "social distancing" and taking extra steps to ensure the safest environment possible for you and your guests.
    Update March 23rd The Tennessee Governor has issued an order prohibiting social gatherings of 10 or more people until April 6th, so we are changing the above recomendation to a requirement and extending it by 2 days.

  • Marriage License - Local Govenment offices are open and there hasn't been any discussion about them closing so you are still able to get a marriage license in Sevier County.

  • The Great Smoky Mountains National Park remains open to the public and you are still allowed to have your wedding ceremony and pictures at the outdoor locations.
    Update March 17th All roads and trails in the National Park remain open except for those closed for the winter season. However, visitor centers have been closed until further notice.
    Update March 19th Events scheduled for Appalachian Clubhouse, Spence Cabin, Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church, Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church, Cades Cove Methodist Church, and Smokemont Baptist Church have been suspended until April 30th. Weddings at outdoor locations are still allowed to take place as scheduled.
    Update March 23rd Campgrounds, picnic areas and restrooms in the National Park are now closed through April 30th. Wedding permits at outdoor locations have been modified to allow a maximum of 10 people, also through April 30th. Trails and roads remain open.
    Update March 25th All access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, including all trails and roads are closed through April 6th. The only exceptions are the Foothills Parkway and the Spur which runs between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge remain open.
    Update April 1st The Great Smoky Mountains National Park has extended the closure through April 1st.

  • Lodging - All of the lodging companies we have checked with are open and taking special precautions to keep their employees and guests safe. Many of them are offering to reschedule dates at no additional charge for people that aren't able to keep their original booking.

  • Wedding related services - All of the wedding related businesses that we have checked with are still open and serving customers. These include florists, hair salons, bakeries and formal wear.
    Update March 23rd All of the hair salons that we checked with today have decided to voluntarily close until April 6th. Most of the other businesses that serve our customers are still open, but some are by appointment only.

  • Restaurants - The overwhelming majority of restaurants in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge remain open at this time. Some restaurants are only providing take out meals, some are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of guests who prefer to dine in. The list is much too long to post here, if you need information about a specific restaurant please contact them directly.
    Update March 17th Virtually all of the dinner shows in town have decided to close until May 8th, here is a partial list: Dolly Parton's Stampede, Pirates Voyage, Smoky Mountain Opry, Hatfield and McCoy, Comedy Barn
    Update March 23rd The Governer of Tennessee has signed an order allowing restaurants to only provide take out and delivery options until April 6th

  • Attractions - Most of the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge remain open and are taking special precautions to protect their staff and customers.
    Update March 16th Dollywood has decided to postpone their grand opening and remains closed until March 28th
    Update March 18th Here is a list of popular attractions that have closed: All Ripley's attractions are closed until further notice, The Track Family Funs Parks closed until April 2nd, Gatlinburg Skylift Park closed until further notice, The Titanic Museum is closed until April 10th
