We have been providing wedding, elopement and vow renewal packages in the Smoky Mountain area since 2004. Packages include your ceremony location, minister and photography. Package details and prices below.

Ceremony Locations: There are dozens of beautiful locations to hold your wedding ceremony in the Smoky Mountains. We have invested a lot of time searching for the best wedding locations in the Smokies, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so you don’t have to. Some of the most popular sites include riversides, waterfalls, mountain views and cabins. If you are not familiar with the area we will be happy to suggest the best location for you based on where you will be staying and what type of setting you are looking for. We provide wedding and elopement packages to the entire Smoky Mountain area including Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Townsend and Cades Cove.

Ministers: We work with a few select local, ordained ministers and notaries public who provide heartfelt wedding ceremonies and truly care about the couples they marry. Your officiant will complete and return your marriage license to the county clerk's office. You can request a Christian based, traditional ceremony or a non-religous, civil ceremony. Most special requests are handled by our office, but you're welcome to reach out to your scheduled minister if you'd like to. Additional information on Ministers

Photography: Our photographers is a full time professional. Most wedding and elopement packages include full resolution, edited image files by digital download. (photo CD’s and flash drives are also available) Your images will be adjusted for color, brightness and contrast. We also include a copyright release so that you may get prints and enlargements made on your own and a guide on how to get the best prints from your files. (Black and white images and other special effects are also available upon request.) Additional information on photographers

Parking Tags: Parking tags (passes) are required for any vehicle parked in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park for more than 15 minutes. We will provide you with up to 6 daily parking passes with your wedding or elopement package. Click here for more information on the parking pass program.

Availability: Wedding packages have limited availability. Saturdays usually fill up early, and our ministers are busy on most Sundays. You may want to consider holding your wedding or elopement on a weekday for more options and availability.

Why choose a New Beginnings Package: At New Beginnings we concentrate on quality, not volume. As mentioned above, our packages have limited availability. That’s because we only work with a select few Ministers and only have one primary photographer. Other wedding and elopement companies work in volume and most use sub-contracted photographers and ministers which makes it difficult for you to know who will be showing up at your wedding.

What do I do next: After you have decided which package and location you would like, fill out the reservation form or contact form here. We will respond as soon as possible with everything you need to know.

    Weddings in the Smoky Mountains

Micro weddings & Mini Weddings in Gatlinburg, TN.

These packages are suitable for small, intimate weddings typically known as micro weddings or mini weddings. These types of weddings normally host a small group of less than 40 people. They are organized on a smaller scale with a more relaxed feel when compared to a larger, more traditional wedding. The trend of micro wedding has grown tremendously in recent years, here’s why:

    A personalized aproach
Large, traditional weddings come with a host of formalities, expectations and requirements. On the other hand, micro weddings give couples the freedom to think outside the box and the flexibility to create an experience based around their interests and personalities.
    A Stress-less Celebration
Aside from the obvious advantages of fewer guests like less invites and less replies, there are many more intangible benefits that will reduce your stress leading up to, and on your wedding day. It just seems like the more people involved the more stress. Everyone either has an opinion or wants to lend a hand. Reducing the number of guests will significantly reduce your level of stress and allow you to enjoy more meaningful time with the select few who are there to celebrate with you.
    Prioritizing costs
Micro weddings are often associated with smaller budgets, but they don't have to be. A growing trend is to plan a micro wedding with a larger wedding budget, focusing on creating an exceptional experience for fewer guests. By concentrating your efforts and budget on fewer details, you can make those details impeccable, ensuring that every aspect of your micro wedding is memorable and meaningful. This approach allows you to prioritize what truly matters to you, whether it's a gourmet meal, stunning decor, or a breathtaking venue, without the need to compromise due to a larger guest list.
    Focus on what's most important
A micro wedding offers a unique opportunity to truly focus on your love for one another and the start of a new chapter in your life together. Unlike larger weddings where the focus can sometimes be lost in the scale of the event, a micro wedding keeps the spotlight on what truly matters – your commitment to each other.
